Heifetz and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Walter Hendl (who replaced the ill Fritz Reiner) put these 3-track recordings in the right proportion to each other. Produced by the legendary Jack Pfeiffer and with Lewis Layton as recording engineer it doesn't get any better than here.
