in 2015, guitarist and composer Andreas Dombert recorded his first album with his trio. After this was highly praised by both the press and the public and he was nominated for the Echo Jazz award, the Andreas Dombert Trio is now coming to Bauer Studios for a studio concert with a slightly different line-up.

He has chosen his players well for this: With Henning Sieverts on bass, he has been able to recruit another internationally renowned artist who defies all attempts at categorization. He has also been awarded the New German Jazz Prize twice and the Echo Jazz once for his unique bass playing.

Leipzig-based drummer Maximilian Breu has also received several awards for his skills and avant-garde style of playing during his studies; between acoustic and electronic elements, he is always on the lookout for new ways of expression.

The musical range of composer Andreas Dombert is extremely broad, ranging from meditative to experimental, even within individual pieces. However, he always retains a very special feel for melodies. His style is characterized by many experiences - a tightrope walk between eras and regions. His influences include jazz, classical music, minimalism and classical modernism. This exciting blend radiates a warm melancholy and a charisma all of its own.

With Henning Sieverts on bass and Maximilian Breu on drums, Dombert has a perfectly coordinated team at his side. Our sound engineer Philipp Heck makes sure that the natural sound is shown to its best advantage on the analog recording. As usual, a pure analog recording, produced as 180g vinyl!

STUDIO KONZERT is the name of the audiophile direct-to-2-track fully analog concert series, which has been produced at Bauer Studios in Ludwigsburg since the beginning of 2013 and is available as 180g vinyl in high-quality sleeve album artwork and as a hand-numbered limited edition.
