Product features
- The Crius H5S is a versatile hi-fi headphone amplifier, DAC, and preamplifier featuring a fully discrete architecture with no op-amps or coupling capacitors in the signal path.
- By optimizing discrete local feedback instead of heavy global feedback, it achieves exceptional linearity and low distortion. Additionally, an adaptive bias circuit smoothly bridges Class A and AB operation to deliver maximum sound purity.
- The Crius H5S features a dual-mono ES9039Q2M DAC architecture paired with fully discrete, balanced analog output stages. It includes Optical, Coaxial, and USB inputs to connect any digital source, while supporting high-resolution audio formats for flagship-level decoding detail.
- Built from high-grade aluminum, steel, and glass, the rigid Crius H5S chassis comes in black, silver, and bronze finishes. Its volume knob features a two-bearing design and an embedded 1.8-inch circular display, providing a smooth interface to manage settings like precise balance control.
- Crius H5S offers balanced and unbalanced connectivity with an XLR BYPASS mode suitable for analog chains. Its internal power supply eliminates bulky external adapters.
- Supports a wired firmware update.
