Sergei Djagilew appointed him conductor of the famous dance ensemble Ballets Russes in 1915. He made outstanding recordings with the L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, which he founded, for the Decca label. This recording of the suites from Bizet's Carmen and L'Arlesienne was made in London in 1958.
Bernie Grundman did the mastering of the analog tapes for ORG. The double LP with 180 grams and 45 rpm is published in a gatefold cover with consecutive serial number in a limited edition of 2,500 copies. Pressed at RTI in Camarillo, California.
