Jacob Roved - Our Groove Your Move 180g LP

This jazz trio is a collaboration between the Danish drummer Jacob Roved, Finnish guitarist Sami Linna, and Greek Hammond organist George Kontrafouris. The trio pays tribute to the classic American organ jazz of the 1960s. The vintage sound is inspired by Hammond organ greats such as Don Patterson, Larry Young, and Freddie Roach. The album includes compositions by Hank Mobley, Don Patterson, Freddie Roach, Frank Loesser, and an original tune from Jacob Roved. The style is characterized by groovy and infectious swing, positive energy, and an engaging joy of playing.
